We are a rarity in New York City, an adult, co-ed, independent, community softball league. We've been playing on Sunday mornings in Brooklyn Heights for over twenty years. It's a league where life time friendships are formed. We've had marriages in our league. We've had children, in fact parents and children are now actively playing and competing together - another NYC rarity.  

 

Our players come from all walks of life - teachers, cops, firefighters, chefs, restaurateurs, businessmen, electricians, contractors, actors, production people, artists, activists, lawyers,  writers, editors, brokers, bankers, bartenders  and more.

 

We play two seasons - a spring season that usually runs from Mid-March through early June; a Fall season that runs from Sepetember through early November. We do not play on major holidays.

 

We have our own set of rules. Basically the common rules of co-ed softball with some changes that reflect our ball park at Van Vorhees field and our goals of competitive safe fun.
